Ever Considered A Florida Keys Vacation Rental?

Thinking of taking a vacation in the Florida Keys? Have you ever considered going with a rental vacation instead of paying for a hotel?
A vacation in the Florida Keys is a fun way to give your wallet a break.
The Florida Keys is a fun-filled place to visit. There is a ton of nighttime entertainment, the beaches are breathtaking, and you will be hard pressed to do everything there is to do.
What is a rental vacation anyway? What in the world does it mean?
Sometimes vacation rentals are confused with time shares, but they are not the same thing. A time share is something that the owner actually owns, similar to a piece of property while a vacation rental is just when you "rent" someone's home from them for your vacation. The owner has a home that they are willing to rent out when they are not there.
It surprised me when I learned that you can really get a better price by renting a vacation rental then you would if you stayed in a hotel. You have to remember that hotels have a lot of additional expenses like advertising, upkeep, etc., that all get passed to you. In a lot of situations, a vacation rental occurs when an owner has a place in the Florida Keys and is only able ot stay there for part of the year. They'd rather not have their home be empty, so they choose to rent it out to make a bit of extra money.
I do want to caution you however, when you travel to the Days Inn, you know exactly what to expect. There are Days Inn's all across the country and all conform to the same standard. When you get a vacation rental, it can be a bit unpredictable. They may not all have a fantastic cleaning crew.
I want to suggest that you not jump right into the very first rental that you find. It is recommended that you talk with talk to someone or research it well on the internet before you take that first rental. If you plan smart, a vacation in the Florida Keys will be a wonderful time and save you lots of dough.
